OMLATAM: A fantastic closure of the OMLATAM 2020 Call to get started with the official launch of One Million Leaders Latin America!
The OMLATAM 2020 Call was a great success, receiving applications from more than 200 people from 14 Latin-American countries. It has been satisfactory to see the variety of people interested, from different disciplines and the commitment demonstrated by the participants.
OMLATAM is part of a global project organized by Nelis, OML (One Million Leaders), where the purpose is to connect a large group of leaders in all the continents that point to better leadership practices based in sustainability and better social outcomes. Consequently, OMLATAM aims to generate the conditions for a new type of truly sustainable and regenerative leadership throughout the entire Latin American region. We seek to connect, inspire, and empower the youth of the region with practical skills in transformative and sustainable leadership, as well as tools for innovation and social entrepreneurship.
We have now the pleasure to announce that we have already selected the first group of 95 leaders that will participate at the OMLATAM Summit 2020, which will take place the 25th and 26th of November. This will be a two-days online event that will open the space to connect them and to begin their training program.
The first day of the summit will be about Sustainability. It will be hosted by experts in Latin America scenarios in terms of sustainability, combined with workshops on methodologies for project management.
The topics we will be holding:
• Challenges and opportunities in Latin America in terms of sustainability
• Social & Sustainable entrepreneur
• Communication as a transformative tool for the society
• Solutions based in nature
• Methodologies for project management
As it has been mentioned before, the summit will be the starting point of OMLATAM training program on leadership, which leads to the topic of the second day of the event. This day, the team has prepared inspiring conversations with leaders that are already creating a path in their territories, campaigned with empowering workshops where the participants can apply and improve their leadership capabilities.

• Inspiring cases of study on leadership in sustainability and social entrepreneur in Latin America
• Leadership in sustainability
• Transformative leadership
• The power of diversity
Furthermore, the summit will have activities where the participants will get the opportunity to interact with the team and the rest of the leaders.
The OMALATAM Summit 2020 aims to generate conversations that provide valuable outcomes to all the participants and allow them to connect with the rest of the leaders of our very first OMLATAM team.
