The African arm of the One Million Leaders project of NELIS (One Million Leaders Africa- OMLA) launched her Boosters Sign Up Campaign on the 14th of December, 2020. The boosters are the first set of supporters and donors for the One Million Leaders Africa-OMLA project.
Prior to the boosters sign up campaign launch, One Million Leaders Africa- OMLA was inaugurated in August during the Nelis Africa virtual summit. The summit had well over 200 participants, majority of whom have translated into the OMLA community.
With over half of the population of the continent being young people under age 25, Africa is like a young child whose growth should be well nurtured. Hence the need to groom young people with leadership skills and prepare them for adulthood laced with responsibility.
As the first step in equipping a million young leaders across the continent kicked off, OMLA looks forward to having significant number of people especially young folks sign up as OMLA Boosters.
