Taita Domingo Cuatindioy offers Alejandro his first cup of yagé, while his mother, with deep concentration and nerves, witnesses this epic and transcendental moment. During this night, 30 children attended the yagé ceremony together with their parents and guided by the Taitas and Mamitas. Many children laughed, others cried, slept, sang, and others vomited. In the end the experiences were captured in powerful paintings. This ceremony is part of a process of strengthening the traditional Kamentsá and Inga culture through art and medicine.
