On July 18th, NELIS Africa celebrated Nelson Mandela´s day with a virtual conference where they shared stories about Mandela’s life and legacy, Next Leaders’ Summit Africa 2020 and the OMLA project. Peter David Pedersen joined Lawrence Afere (Coordinator of NELIS Africa), Monica Wanjiru K (OMLA Founding Member) and Felix Iziomoh (Nelis Core Team Member).
